Patented Oct. 11. 1887. April 2. 1889. Aug. 1. 1893 / 32-40, and Special Smokeless
Steel. The top of the receiver is marked Marlin Safety.
The underside of the frame is marked 154344 and the upper tang is marked Model
1893.
Barrel Length: 26 in
Sights / Optics: This rifle is mounted with a dovetail set front beaded blade and a
dovetail set rear leaf and elevator, semi-buckhorn sight with the elevator present.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks appear oil finished wood that may
have been refinished. The condition of the wood is excelant, with proud fit to the
metal and very few marks or dings. We believe this to be the original wood.
The LOP measures about 13 3/4 in.

Excellent overall condition.
Original bluing finish is worn off very evenly and there are some scratches along the
side plates.
Bore Condition: The bore is quite dark and the rifling is sharp.

Overall Condition: This rifle is in very good condition considering its age.
Even the the Screw heads are as close to unturned as could be expected on this rifle.
The markings are crisp, even raised on the barrel
Mechanics: The action functions correctly.
