Marlin 1894 44-40 Rifle
The 24" Octagon barrel has a Good bore with prominent rifling with some frosting.
The hammer half-cock and full cock are strong.
The barrel retains most of its bluing but is fading to a blue/brown patina.
the receiver has faded to a grey patina.
The buttstock has a 3" crack at the lower tang and a 1 1/2" crack at the upper tang. The stock has been sanded. The Forearm is in good condition.
Overall this rifle appears to be in operating condition.
All Firearms should be inspected by a Competent Gunsmith before Firing.
