Markings: The top of the barrel is marked J. STEVENS A. & T. CO. / CHICOPEE
FALLS, MASS. U.S.A - and on the side 38-55. The llower tang is marked 8084

Barrel Length: 28 inches, 1/3 Octagonal 2/3 Round approximately.

Sights / Optics: The rear sight is U Noth with elevation wedge - Front sight is post
with brass hood

Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are smooth walnut wood and are in good
condition - No cracks or repairs evident.
Has original steel crescent buttplate.
The LOP measures approximately 13 in from the front of the trigger to the back of
the buttplate.
Bore Condition: The bore is good

Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 60% of its metal finish. More on the barrel
than on the receiver. Overall, this rifle is in Fine condition. .
